(OSHA Today) Federal OSHA is proposing a $194,000 fine against Spirit AeroSystems, a Boeing and Airbus supplier, for allegedly exposing employees to to hexavalent chromium. Employees were exposed to airborne concentrations of the cancer-causing agent at nearly two times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) at a Wichita, Kansas plant, according to the agency.
