40-Hour HAZWOPER Initial Course (English + Spanish)

OSHA requires this course for workers on hazardous waste sites. The course includes classroom learning and realistic hands-on activities. Workers practice remediation and decontamination activities while wearing the proper respirator and protective clothing. Upon successful completion of this course, each worker receives a “40-Hour Card” that certifies the worker to do hazardous waste work for 12 months, at which time OSHA requires the worker to take a Refresher Course.

8-Hour Hazardous Waste Refresher Course (english + Spanish)

This is the annual Refresher Course that OSHA requires for hazardous waste workers. The course reviews material from the 40-Hour Basic Course, discusses lessons learned from accidents, and presents new procedures and regulatory changes. Upon successful completion of this course, each worker receives an “8-Hour Refresher Card” that certifies the worker to continue hazardous waste work for another 12 months.

10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety (English + Spanish)

Many jurisdictions require construction workers to take this course. It covers OSHA standards, electrical safety, fall protection and other topics chosen to match the training needs and job tasks of the workers attending the course. Upon successful completion of this course, each worker receives an “OSHA 10-Hour Card” that certifies that the worker has completed this course.

8-Hr Transportation Safety and Security Awareness

This course covers general familization with HMR requirements, function specific training, safety training, and security training at the awareness level for all students. Upon completing all of the modules, the student will be issued a card certifying they have completed this training.


  • 8-Hr Forklift Safety Course (Classroom + Practical)

    This 8-Hour Forklift Safety Course provides workers with the training required to operate a variety of powered industrial trucks for moving, loading, unloading, and stacking and staging equipment and materials at hazardous waste clean-up sites and DOE remediation projects.  EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR THE 8-HOUR FORKLIFT SAFETY COURSE MUST BE PROVIDED BY THE REQUESTING ORGANIZATION.  ADDITIONALLY, WORKERS MUST BE EMPLOYED ON HAZMAT/HAZWASTE CLEANUP SITES.

  • 8-Hr Load Securement Course (Classroom + Practical)

    The 8-Hour Load Securement Course provides workers with the training needed to safely secure loads for transportation on and off hazardous waste and construction sites.  This course provides intensive hands-on training and demonstrations on use of equipment and procedures. EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR THE 8-HOUR LOAD SECUREMENT COURSE MUST BE PROVIDED BY THE REQUESTING ORGANIZATION.  ADDITIONALLY, WORKERS MUST BE EMPLOYED ON HAZMAT/HAZWASTE CLEANUP SITES.


30-Hr RW Chemical Emergence Response

This course covers material required by OSHA standards and the DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations. The 32-Hour CER Course is designed specifically for workers involved in the rail transportation of hazardous materials.  Upon completion of this course, each worker will be presented with a course completion card.

10-Hr OSHA General Industry Safety Outreach Course

This course covers OSHA standards, electrical safety, fall protection and other topics chosen to match the training needs and job tasks of the workers attending the course. Upon successful completion of this course, each worker receives an “OSHA 10-Hour Card” that certifies that the worker has completed this course.

16-Hour Emergency Responder – Operations Level Course

OSHA requires this course for warehouse or freight workers who respond to a HAZMAT incident in a manner beyond that allowed awareness-trained workers. The course includes classroom learning and realistic hands-on defensive response techniques. Upon successful completion of this course, each worker receives an “Operation Level Card” that certifies the worker as an emergency responder – operations level.

24-Hour Radiological Worker II Course

DOE requires this course for all workers in areas with potential radiation exposure or radioactive contamination. The course includes classroom learning and realistic hands-on activities.
