Fatalities caused by falls from elevation continue to be a leading cause of death for construction employees, accounting for 366 of the 971 construction fatalities recorded in 2017 (BLS data). This awareness course is intended to increase workers knowledge on hazards they may encounter on a job site related to potential for occupational exposure to the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Training will emphasize what is a coronavirus, how is it spread, symptoms, how to protect workers, and cleaning and disinfecting.
